		<description>Ah Ray, not a surprise you chose that book! But I was intrigued to learn that you read it in the style of an existentialist author. How odd! Reading Machen with the same concentration one would give to Camus is a very interesting approach: it&#039;s as if you are saying that readers can get temporaily &quot;stuck&quot; in a particular mode of writing and carry that mode over to works not in that mode. I now plan to read lots and lots of Nabokov and then instantly switch to Ray Bradbury -- just to see what happens! :-)</description>
